I Love Siam!

It was the day to officially rediscover Bangkok.

And because ETS and I both knew that although we agreed to make this stop of the Asian tour to be relaxed, there's no stopping our naturally itchy feet.

So, buffet breakfast was def appropriate to fuel up!

I must say that the hotel has a very good selection!
Really fresh fruits!
Coffee to perk us up!

After the filling breakfast, we're ready to take Bangkok by storm!

It was only then that we realized how convenient the hotel's location really is, the BTS Chong Nonsi Station is literally by its doorstep!
The infamous traffic in Bangkok, but at least they were still orderly.
We were just two stations away from...
...the ferry station along Chao Phraya River where we took the boat to the first temple on our checklist.  I love how convenient it was to go around the city, not having to haggle with taxi and tuktuk drivers and brave the traffic jams!
ETS didn't want to sit.  Was it because of kuya checking out your behind? LOL!
One of the many posh hotels along the river.  Our own Pasig river has the potential to be like this if only we  could work together to revive it :(
Old-fashioned tourist ferryboat!
Finally, the view of Wat Arun!
I'm gonna rent costumes too when I go back!
The towers!

It was a strenuous climb!  Well, as Narnie the Cambodian said, it's hard to get to heaven!

One temple down.  Next, Wat Pho!

Before we could enter the temple premises, we had to bear with this.  I swear, the schoolgirls all looked the same!
Manong Guard! LOL!
Stupas everywhere!
Sitting...
Standing...
Reclining.
Now I need a foot massage, so we hopped on...
... a tuktuk to our next stop, against our will, we could bear the sun no more!
